Deer of Stanmore Common
Stanmore Common has 3 species of wild deer: muntjac, roe and fallow. All are secretive and difficult to see, but you will see the cloven hoof tracks all over the Common. By measuring the length of the hoof print you can get a good idea of which species made it:
Muntjac: 25mm hoof print length
Roe: 45mm hoof print length

Fallow: 60mm hoof print length.
